Press Statement by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim
The hospital report leaked yesterday confirms our contention that the allegations leveled against me are baseless and politically motivated and that the complainant is an outright liar working hand in glove with those in power to assassinate my character and attempt to derail the people’s aspirations for transformational change in government.This report makes a mockery of the so-called “impartial police investigations” and clearly shows the dubious but persistent attempts to incriminate me by whatever means employable.How else can we fathom why the police during the last four weeks of their “thorough and professional investigations” have overlooked such a critical piece of evidence? I condemn in the strongest terms their negligence, dishonesty and recklessness in humiliating the nation by dragging us all through this vile and filthy charade.
Our refusal to submit a DNA sample has been vindicated. The failure of the police to disclose this medical report all but confirms their intention to frame me. Although quite apparent even before yesterday, their desperate attempt to collect a new DNA sample is now even more clearly a last ditch effort to build a case where none exists.
The statement by Bar President Dato’ Ambiga Sreenevasan in response to this latest development bears repeating.
“The credibility of the Malaysian justice system as a whole is therefore atstake. The integrity of professionals, be they doctors or lawyers, must never be interfered with. The public must be left in no doubt that the criminaljustice system in this country will not be misused or abused.”

Laporan Perubatan HUKM Kes DSAI Bocor !!!
From :P99 Ampang ; Hospital Kuala Lumpur hari ini telah mengeluarkan laporan di mana Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim tidak terlibat dalam kes meliwat Saiful. Laporan ini telah di bocorkan oleh salah seorang pegawai di hospital berkenaan dan Pejabat Parti Keadilan telah menerima laporan tersebut pada tenghari tadi.Ternyata Dato Seri Anwar tidak bersalah dan pihak kerajaan cuba untuk mereka cerita demi kepentingan politik mereka. Sejurus menerima laporan tersebut ketua wanita keadilan Puan Zuraida Kamaruddin telah menghadiahkan sejambak bunga bagi mengucapkan jutaan terima kasih kepada pihak hospital berkenaan kerana tulus, jujur dan amanah.10 Jambak bunga yang di hadiahkan sebenarnya ada motif yang tersirat.Bunga yang di hadiahkan Puan Zuraida adalah untuk menyampaikan mesej bahawa pihak Parti Keadilan sudah mengetahui mengenai laporan perubatan tersebut. Pihak Hospital agak terkejut kerana laporan yang asal itu telah di bocorkan.Menurut sumber sejurus laporan perubatan rasmi telah di keluarkan ternyata DSAI tidak bersalah namun Pihak Kerajaan berusaha untuk menukar fakta dengan menyuruh Pihak Hospital untuk menukar kembali laporan tersebut. Namun malang ianya sudah terlambat. Salah seorang pegawai di hospital berkenaan sudah tidak mahu terlibat serta bersubahat untuk melakukan jenayah tersebut. Walau selicik mana sekalipun jika pekara itu benar walau di sorokkan tetap akan timbul kebenarannya.Dato’ Seri Anwar juga sebelum ini telah membuat kenyataan walau apa sekali pun yang terjadi Beliau tetap akan bertanding walau waktu kempennya berada di Balai Polis. Namun dengan laporan perubatan yang sahih dikeluarkan tidak ada sebab lagi untuk DSAI ditahan.
